Chloe Larson ended up just out the Top 50. Cougars then started day three with a Top 50 finish in the 400 IM prelims in the form of
Taylor McCoy,
Mackenzie Duarte joined McCoy with a Top 50 finish of her own in the 100 breast.
Washington State ended their U.S. Open journey with
Taylor McCoy swimming in the C finals for the 200 back placing third in the final overall. The star of the meet
Mackenzie Duarte closed out the meet in the 200 breast swimming in the C final notching a third place finish with a Olympic Time Trial Cut.
