ITA NORTHWEST REGIONALS RECAP: The Cougars sent four players to Stanford, Calif. to participate in the 2019 ITA Northwest Regionals. Senior
Melisa Ates posted the biggest win over her career, defeated No. 2 seed and the nation's 24
th-ranked player in California's Julia Rosenqvist in the third round. Ates reached the Round of 16 before falling 7-5, 6-4 to Washington's Katarina Kopcilac. Sophomore Savannah Ly-Nguyen won her first two rounds before falling in the Round of 32 while sophomore
Hikaru Sato and freshman
Pang Jittakoat both reached the second round.

Lisa Hart is entering her 17th season as the head coach at Washington State. Hart has accumulated a 221-118 (.540) record her tenure, finishing the last season with a 19-11 record and a third trip to the NCAA Championships.
