PULLMAN, Wash. – WSU ended final day of Chick-Fil-A Invitational in fourth place.

WSU's relay team of Keiana Fountaine, Payton Bokowy, Paige Gardner and Ryan Falk came in fifth in the 400 free clocking in at 3:33.11.

At the end of the final session coach Matt Leach had this to say "We need to keep working on getting the right energy for races, the right spots for the different relays," he continued "Ryan Falk came out today strong finishing fourth roughly 10 seconds faster this year than last year, Kate Laderoute came out in the 200 back with an amazing swim ending in the top six."

Coach Leach continued by saying "Across the board great in season swims with great season best times, continue to advance quickly with each swim and get back to work on Monday. Excited with how young the program is and get them in situations to compete."

The Cougars will host Idaho next week at Gibb Pool on Friday Oct. 18.
