TUCSON, Ariz. – The Washington State University Track and Field program concluded competition at the Pac-12 Multi-Event Championships, as Lindsey Schauble and Ray Littles, each turned in solid performances throughout the final day of action.
Lindsey Schauble continued postseason competition with a solid day two which featured the long jump, javelin throw, and 800-meter run. Schauble recorded a PR in both the long jump, with a mark of 18-feet 6 1/2 inches (5.65m), and in the 800m event with a time of 2:21.00 overall. Lindsey finished the heptathlon with 5,028 points, a new lifetime best in the event for the senior from Kennewick, Wash. Overall she turned in four top ten finishes at the Pac-12 Multi-Event Championships, along with three total lifetime best marks throughout the weekend as Lindsey finished the weekend placed 10th.
Ray Littles entered day two of the Pac-12 Multi-Event Championships looking to compete for the overall top spot as 110-meter hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin throw, and the 1500-meter run remained. Ray turned in an overall score of 6,772 points in the decathlon, a new lifetime best for the senior from Issaquah, Wash. Littles finished the competition sixth overall, but record two PR's in both the javelin with a mark of 142-feet 3 inches (43.37m), and in the 1500m run at 4:46.26. He completed the weekend with five total lifetime best marks, along with winning the 100m dash, and placing second overall in the 400m dash.
