•       Kyle Sweet and Peyton Pelluer were game captains for the 8th straight game, lost coin toss for 4th time, only time winning coin toss in 2018 was against Oregon

•       WSU beat Stanford for the third straight season, the first time do since 2001-03
•       WSU improves to 7-1 for the second straight season
•       WSU had 2 receivers eclipse the 100-yard mark (Calvin, Patmon) for the 2nd time this season (Patmon, Winston Jr vs. Utah)

•       Mike Leach recorded his 45th win at WSU, passing Jim Walden for 3rd-most in WSU history

•       Gardner Minshew II threw 3 TD passes, upping season total to 26, tied for 8th-most in WSU single-season history
•       Dezmon Patmon set career highs with 10 receptions and 127 yards, his 2nd career 100-yard game (112, Utah)
•       Jamire Calvin caught 3 passes for 102 yards, his 1st career 100-yard game
•       Tay Martin caught his 7th TD of the season
•       Taylor Comfort recorded his 1st career fumble recovery, early in the 1st quarter
•       Halid Djibril (ST) recorded his 1st career tackle, came on 1st quarter kickoff coverage
•       Blake Mazza's 42-yard field goal with 19 seconds left was WSU's 1st game-winning kick in the final minute since Andrew Furney's game-winning field goal in overtime of the 2012 Apple Cup
