The Cougars take on the No. 1 team in the nation Sunday at home.

OPENING XI
> Washington State won it's 11th game of the year Thursday, one better than its 2017 campaign. The win snapped a five-match losing streak.
> The Cougars play the No. 1 team in the nation for the 9th time in program history. This will be the sixth time against Stanford, four of the five previous meetings have been decided by one goal. The last being Sept. 29, 2016 (Stanford W, 2-1)
> Stanford has won the last four overall, all by one goal. The last seven contests have been decided by one goal.
> WSU fell out of the top-25 for the first time this season, snapping a record run of 10-consecutive weeks ranked.
> Cougs RPI sits at 42 in NCAA RPI.
> Maddy Haro set the WSU's single-season record for assists with 12. She is 2nd nationally in total assists and 1st in assists per game (0.80)
> Morgan Weaver enters the weekend tied No. 5 all-time in career goals scored with 23 goals. She is tied for sixth in the Pac-12 in scoring with 8 goals.
> Maegan O'Neill has scored five goals on the year, second on the team despite missing he first three games of the season due to injury.
> 11 different Cougars have scored the team's 32 goals on the year with seven different game-winning scorers.
> WSU is 5th in the Pac-12 and 46th in the nation in scoring (2.00 gpg) entering the game.
> Defensively, WSU is 9th in the Pac-12 and 177th in the nation in goals against average at 1.26.

FACING NO. 1 STANFORD
WSU is set to host No. 1 Stanford Sunday. The game marks the ninth time WSU will play the No. 1 team in the country and the sixth time that team comes in the form of the Cardinal. While 0-5 against Stanford as No. 1, four of the five games have been decided by just one goal including the last meeting on Sept. 29, 2016 (2-1) at Stanford. 
Overall, the last seven meetings between the Cougars and the Cardinal have been decided by just one goal with Stanford winning five-straight.

HARO: THE SINGLE-SEASON ASSIST QUEEN
With her 12th assist of the year against Cal, senior Maddy Haro became the all-time single-season in assists, passing all-time great Micaela Castain's 2013 campaign of 11 assists.
On the year, Haro is second in the country in total assists with 12 while her 0.80 assists per game leads the nation. She has assisted or scored nearly half of the Cougars 32 goals on the year.
Additionally, Haro has posted two separate streaks of three-straight games with an assist tying for the longest streak in WSU history.  She is one assist from becoming just the third player in WSU history to record 20 career assists and four from the all-time record despite not recording an assist in her first two seasons of play.
