Men’s Basketball at Pac-12 Media Day

The Cougars were represented at Pac-12 Media Day by seniors Robert Franks, Jr. and Viont’e Daniels and head coach Ernie Kent.

SAN FRANCISCO – Seniors Robert Franks, Jr. and Viont'e Daniels and fifth-year head coach Ernie Kent represented Washington State men's basketball at Pac-12 men's basketball media day, Thursday at the Pac-12 Network studios. 

The day started for Kent with a coaches' meeting, while Daniels and Franks went from media station to media station, getting interviewed and photos taken. At 10:35 a.m., all three took the main stage to answer questions from the media members in attendance, followed by an afternoon appearance on the Pac-12 live basketball special show on Pac-12 Network. 

Earlier in the day, the Pac-12 announced the Pac-12 Conference men's basketball poll as voted on by media members who cover the league. WSU was picked to finish 12th, while Oregon was picked to win the conference, followed by UCLA in second and Washington in third.
