SAN FRANCISCO - With the Washington State soccer team ranked in the top-10 and the defending national champion Stanford holding down the No. 1 ranking in the country the Pac-12 Network has decided to pick up the the Cougars matchup with the Cardinal set for Sunday, October 28. With the conference's television network flexing the game onto the national schedule the game time has been moved to 2 p.m.
Last season, the Cougars versus the Cardinal in Pullman was the Pac-12 Network's Game of the Week. The two sides did not disappoint as the Cougs became the first team in Pac-12 play to score on Stanford before ultimately falling 2-1 to the nation's top team. This season, the matchup will also feature WSU's senior day as the Cougars celebrate their elder stateswomen on the final Sunday of the regular season.
