PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State University volleyball team is listed at 27th in the VolleyMob.com Way-Too-Early 2018 Top 25 Power Rankings.

Pac-12 Conference volleyball teams are well-represented in the rankings with Stanford listed at No. 1 followed by USC (8), UCLA (12), Oregon (13), Washington (14) and Colorado (16). WSU was one of 10 teams listed as On the Cusp/Receiving Votes with fellow conference members Utah at 34th and Oregon State at 35th.

The Cougars, led by eighth-year Head Coach Jen Greeny, are coming off back-to-back NCAA Championship Tournament Second Round appearances. WSU returns five starters and 10 letterwinners including All-Pac-12 First Team selection Taylor Mims.

After a successful European team trip in May, four Cougars will be competing on national teams this summer: senior outside hitter Taylor Mims and junior libero Alexis Dirige on the U.S. Collegiate National Team-Europe, junior setter Ashley Brown on the U.S. CNT-Detroit Team, and junior middle blocker Jocelyn Urias on the Mexican National Team.

WSU's first home matches in 2018 will be Sept. 7 and 8, at the Cougar Challenge Tournament in Bohler Gym.
