COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho: Three Cougars are in the top-25 and helped the team to a 5th place finish after the first two rounds of the CDA Resort Collegiate Invitational. WSU's final score of 572(+4) leads New Mexico by one stroke (573, +5).

Sophomore Marie Lund-Hansen sits in the top-ten after the first two rounds of the tournament. Lund-Hansen tied for 9th with five others after tallying a two round score of 140(-2).

Senior Alivia Brown marked a 69(-2) in the first round and a 73(+2) in the second for an even score of 142. Brown tied with four others for 18th place. Brown tallied four consecutive birdies in the last five holes of the first round.

Joining Lund-Hansen and Brown in the top-25 is senior Bree Wanderscheid. Wanderscheid follows directly behind brown with a two round score of 143(+1).

Sitting at the top of the leaderboard is Colorado, who is nine strokes ahead of second place finisher Illinois (559, -9), with a total score of 550(-18). Colorado's Kirsty Hodgkins lead the players after shooting a 68(-3), and 65(-6) for a 133(-9) total.
