Cougars Present "Star Wars" Day at the Dec. 2 Men’s Basketball Game

Fans can receive "Star Wars" posters and enter a costume contest.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State men's basketball fans can travel to a galaxy far, far away, as WSU hosts "Star Wars" Day at the Cougars' basketball game against UC Davis, Saturday, Dec. 2 a noon at Beasley Coliseum.
The first 350 fans to the game will receive a "Star Wars" poster, while the first 175 ZZU CRU members will receive a light saber.
Fans are encouraged to dress up and enter the costume contest by picking up their raffle tickets at the marketing table on the Beasley Coliseum concourse. The grand prize winner will receive two movie tickets to the Dec. 14, 7:30 p.m. showing of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" at Village Centre Cinemas.
The concession deal for the game is $4 popcorn. Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker will also be making guest appearances on the concourse prior to the game.
Those looking for tickets to the WSU game against UC Davis Dec. 2, can take advantage of the Anthracite Friday Deal, which is available Friday, Nov. 24 on wsucougars.com. Fans that purchase a minimum of two tickets and maximum of 10 to the UC Davis game at full price receive a team autographed "Star Wars" Day poster, which can be picked up at the marketing table on Dec. 2 at the game.
