PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. - The WSU men's golf team concluded play at the Saint Mary's Invitational Wednesday, shooting the teams tournament low of 284(E). The team finished in 17th place with a three round score of 883(+31).
Sophomore Daniel Kolar had an especially rewarding third round, going five-under par with a 67. The low score brought Kolar's overall to 212(-1), and helped him make the jump from 40th place after the second round, to finish tied for 20th.
Junior AJ Armstrong tied for 63rd overall, marking a 74(+2) over all three rounds for a total of 222(+9).
Junior Grant Cole tallied his best round of the tournament with a 73(+1), rounding out his three round score of 226(+13). Cole moved up to tie for 77th with two others from Arizona and Fresno State.
