The WSU men's golf team finished in sixth place overall in the Wyoming Southern Dunes Invitational. The tournament took place in Maricopa, Arizona, October 14-15.
The Cougars marked a 296(+8) in the final round to bring their three round total to 879(+15). The team finished one stroke ahead of seventh place finisher Cal Poly (880, +16).
Junior AJ Armstrong and sophomore Daniel Kolar tied for 10th place with two others after finishing with an even 216. Both Kolar and Armstrong tallied two 73's(+1), and one 70(-2).
Senior Derek Bayley tied for 29th after shooting a 76(+4) in the third round. Bayley closed out the tournament with an overall score of 223(+7).
Next up for the Cougars is the Saint Mary's Intercollegiate, November 6-8 in Monterey California.
