Junior AJ Armstrong and sophomore Daniel Kolar tied for 6th with three others. Armstrong marked a 70(-2) in the first round and a 73(+1) in the second, to bring his total score to 143(-1). Kolar flipped Armstrong's scores, shooting a 73(+1) and 70(-2).
The team sits in 5th place with a total score of 583(+7). They lead Western Kentucky by three strokes (586, +10).
An even second round moved senior Derek Bayley up in the rankings. Bayley moved from 24th after the first round to tied for 18th after the second. Bayley tallied a 75(+3) and an even 72 to bring his overall score to 147(+3).
The third round will commence at 7:30 a.m., Sunday, October 15th. Washington State will be paired with Sam Houston State and Western Kentucky.
