During his latest podcast, conducted Thursday morning, Director of Athletics Bill Moos discusses a busy weekend of Cougar Athletics action, including men's basketball hosting the Arizona schools at Beasley Coliseum and the season-opening games for baseball.

In addition, Moos discusses men's basketball senior Josh Hawkinson named a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award, and the Cougar Athletic Fund "Night with Cougar Football" events with events in Spokane and Vancouver. The tour continues Feb. 23 at the Tri-Cities and concludes March 4 at Seattle.

Moos concludes the podcast discussing   Wednesday's visit by Cougar football great Jed Collins. Moos had a chance to visit with Collins, Wednesday afternoon.

Collins, who graduated with a degree in accounting from WSU Carson College of Business, is a financial advisor with Seattle-based Wealth Management & Financial Advisory company Brighton Jones. Wednesday evening, he presented "Game Planning Your Personal Finances," sharing what he learned as a collegiate and professional athlete and his financial experiences with the student-athletes (pictured above).
