The Washington State University volleyball team (22-11), an at-large selection to the 2016 NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament, advanced to Second Round action after defeating Marquette (23-9) in the First Round 25-21, 22-25, 25-19, and 25-20 Dec. 1...the Cougars take on host, No. 3 seed Wisconsin (26-4) 25-11, 25-18, 25-10 winners over Howard University (26-6) in the First Round...the match takes place in the Wisconsin Field House (capacity 6,012) in Madison...WSU-Wisconsin match will be Friday, Dec. 2, at 4 p.m. PT...WSU's 22 wins is tied for fifth-best all-time in WSU history with the 1988 team...this is the most wins in a season since the 2002 season's 24 wins...this is the 11th trip to the NCAA Tournament for the WSU volleyball program and the first under sixth-year WSU Head Coach
