Second Round at Colorado Postponed Due to Darkness

The Cougars will resume the second round and play the final round Tuesday.

PARKER, Colo. – The Washington State men's golf team is in 11th place before the rest of the second round was postponed due to darkness at the Paintbrush Invitational, Monday, at the Colorado Golf Club.

The top three is comprised of No. 6 Oklahoma State, No. 13 Texas Tech, and New Mexico, as each team is under par. WSU trails pac-12 competitors Oregon and Colorado by 21 strokes. 

Leading the team is sophomore AJ Armstrong who is tied for 33rd after shooting 3-over on the day, 12 strokes back of tournament-leader Petter Mikalsen of Denver.

Junior Zach Anderson is tied for 47th and senior Nick Mandell is tied for 51st.

Sophomore Grant Cole is tied for 62nd and junior Derek Bayley is in 77th place.
