PULLMAN, Wash. – Former Washington State women's basketball standout guard Jazmine Perkins earned a spot on the NetScouts Basketball USA Women's All-Star team that will be traveling and competing throughout China over the next eight days, the organization announced Wednesday.

The team will play a round-robin format in two cities for a total of six games against the national teams of China, Lithuania, and Australia. The U.S. team will first play three games in Daishan and Zhoushan in Zhejiang Province from May 27-29. They will then travel to Jiahe in Hunan Province to play three games from May 31-June 2.

Perkins, who has been playing with the Finnish professional side Aanekosken Huima, becomes the second Cougar alumna to compete in China. Last summer former WSU guard Ireti Amojo competed with the Germany women's national team throughout China.

Perkins competed at Washington State from 2008-12. In her time on the Palouse, she became the all-time leader in games played (122) and made the second-most starts in school history (108). The Berkeley, Calif., native is the only Cougar in history on the men's or women's side to record 1,000 points, 700 rebounds, and 250 steals.
