PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State Women's Basketball Head Coach June Daugherty announced that forward Jovana Subasic has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the program this fall.

Subasic is a 6-4 forward out of Sabac, Serbia and was a member of the Serbian U19 National Team last summer. She also played for the U18 National Team in 2014-15 and the U16 National Team 2012-13, averaging 9.1 ppg and 5.9 rpg during the 2013 European Championships.

“We are proud to welcome a very accomplished student academically and a multi-skilled basketball player in Jovana,” Daugherty said. “She owns a seven-foot wingspan, is a great passer and has shown the ability to shoot from behind the arc and either face up or work with her back to the basket. Jovana is a wonderful addition to our recruiting class and should contribute for us immediately.”

Subasic in the fifth member of signing class, joining Chanelle Molina (Guard - Kailua Kona, Hawaii), Cameron Fernandez (Guard - Makawao, Hawaii), Katie Campbell (Guard - Oxnard, Calif.), and Kayla Washington (Forward - San Bernardino, Calif.) who signed last November.
