Ojai, Calif. – Washington State freshman Aneta Miksovska tied the WSU single-season singles wins record during the third day of play at the Pac-12 Women's Tennis Championships, Saturday at Ojai Valley Tennis Center.

Miksovska continued her dominant season by taking one of two matches against tough competition. Miksovska began the day by defeating California's Stephane Lin in an impressive 6-2, 6-3 effort. With the win, Miksovska ties the WSU single-season singles freshman wins record. The Stramberk, Czech Republic, native has accrued 31 victories this season, which ties current teammate Donika Bashota who broke the freshman record with 31 wins last season. In her second match of the day, Miksovska fell in a hard-fought 6-4, 7-6 (1), decision to Maria Smith of California.

The WSU freshmen duo of Aneta Miksovska and Barbora Michalkova fell in its Doubles Invitational Flight's semifinal match against Arizona State's Samantha Hampton and Kassidy Jump, ranked No. 88 nationally and the Invitational Flight's No. 2-seed, 6-3. The loss concludes tournament play for the Cougars.

Washington State ends the regular season with a 17-9 record and a No. 69 national ranking. WSU will now await the NCAA Championship selection.
