SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The Washington State women's golf team sits in 12th place (+43, 619) after two rounds of the Bruin Wave Invitational, Monday, at San Luis Obispo Country Club.
Pac-12 competitor No. 2 UCLA leads the field after shooting even par on the day. No. 18 Arizona State (+10, 586) and No. 25 San Diego State (+13, 589) are in second and third place, respectively.
Sophomore Bree Wanderscheid is tied for 31st and leads the team after shooting 8-over par (152) on the day. Wanderscheid trails tournament-leader Lilia Vu of UCLA by 11 strokes.
Only three strokes separate the rest of the team. Senior Nani Yanagi is tied for 40th (+11, 155), three strokes back of Wanderscheid.
Sophomore Alivia Brown and senior Monica Huang are tied for 52nd (+13, 157), while freshman Madison Odiorne is tied for 58th (+14, 158).
