CHENEY, Wash. - The Washington State University women's tennis team completed day two at the Eastern Washington University Fall Classic, Saturday.
In Flight A singles junior Ksenia Googe was defeated by Heather Davidson of Montana 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 (7). Sophomore Olga Musilovich defeated Chrissy Uriarte of Eastern Washington 6-0, 6-1 in the opening round and then fell to Kylie Peek of Gonzaga 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (5).
In Flight B singles Lindsey Newman of Seattle University beat freshman Anastasia Romantsova 6-3, 2-6, 1-0 (5) in the opening round. In the consolation round, Romantsova was defeated by Sophie Vickers 6-4, 6-2.
In Flight A doubles Googe/Romantsova lost to Newman/Lambert of Seattle University 8-6. In the doubles consolation round Davidson/Peichat of Montana beat Googe/Romantsova 8-3.
