Boulder City, Nev. - The Washington State women's golf team improved one place during the final round to finish 15th at the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational held at the par-72, 6,234-yard Boulder Creek Golf Club.

The Cougars saved their best performance for last and marked their best round during the final day. WSU finished the third round with a 294 (+6) after tallying a 337 in the first round and a 300 in the second round.

Senior Amy Eneroth finished the day with a one-over-par 73. She came into the final round in a tie for 25th and moved up one place finishing in a five-way tie for 24th. The tournament marked the 33rd top 25 finish of her career, the second-most in WSU history.

Freshman Andrea Rosete finished second for the Cougars carding a three-round total of 233 (+17).

Jessica Black posted the Cougars' best score of the final round with a one-under 71. The senior out of Bend, Ore., improved in each round she played and finished the tournament with a three-round total of 236.

Filling out the Cougar lineup were freshman Kristen Allard and sophomore Allison Travis. Allard finished the tournament with a 241 while Travis posted a tournament-total 246.

WSU will head to Eugene, Ore., next to compete in the Duck Invitational March 23-24, where the Cougars finished sixth last season.
