PULLMAN - Poor weather conditions shortened the Head of the Snake Regatta Saturday, October 28. The race was originally scheduled to be two flights racing over a course of 6,000 meters. Instead, only five varsity crews from Washington State and Gonzaga raced for less than 2,000 meters.
"The water was tossing them around," WSU Head Coach Jane LaRiviere said.
Washington State returns to the water Nov. 12, for the Head of the Lake Regatta in Seattle, Wash.
