HAWKINS' HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Lettered four times in wrestling, three in baseball and two in football, the latter for Bo Yates...JUNIOR season named to the Intermountain Conference first team as a running back...gained over 900 yards...captured the district wrestling title at 140 pounds...SENIOR (1999-2000) repeat member of the all-conference team, topping the 1,000 yard mark...made third straight trip to the district wrestling meet and won wrestling district title, then finished seventh in the State meet...all-conference first team centerfielder after hitting just over .400 in the spring.
HAWKINS' WSU CAREER
FRESHMAN (2000-01): Redshirt season after joining the team in August...earned one weekly team award: Oregon State/Offensive Scout Team.
RS-FRESHMAN (2001-02): Games - 2...Starts - 0...saw limited playing time against Idaho and Montana State.
RS-SOPHOMORE (2002-03): Games - 1...Starts - 0...had one carry for four yards against Montana State.
RS-JUNIOR (2003-04): Did not see any varsity action...named scout time player of the year for the fourth season.
PERSONAL
Blair Hawkins...born November 3, 1981 at Walla Walla, Wash...parents Tim and Debbie Hawkins...two brothers, Tanner and Adam...the latter a four-year WSU football letterwinner, graduating May 2001...one sister, Kelsey...enjoys fishing, hunting, camping and skiing...prep GPA 3.9, graduating with highest honors at Pendleton High...member of the national honor society...will graduate in management information systems.
