GONZALEZ'S WSU CAREER. FRESHMAN (2020): Did not appear in a match during the 2020 season.
GONZALEZ'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Colby was a two-sport athlete while attending Gregory Portland High School, lettering in both volleyball and track. Gonzalez earned numerous accolades in both throughout her high school career, including being named District 29-5A Defensive Player of the Year, District 29-5A Academic All-District, and her team advanced to the regional semi-finals during her senior campaign. She was named the District 29-5A Co-Defensive Player of the Year during her junior season as well. While playing for Corpus Christi Force Gonzalez was named to the PrepVolleyball 2017-18 Sophomore 79 list, and a year ago her squad finished fifth overall at the Tour of Texas.
