WASHINGTON STATE CAREER
Junior (2016-17) – Competed all 12 of WSU’s tournaments on the season, as well as the NCAA Lubbock Regional…Started the season with four top-15 finishes in her first five tournaments, including her career-best finish, placing second (210, -6) at the Golfweek Conference Challenge (Sept. 26-28)…fired a career-best 68 in the final round at the event…placed ninth at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational (Oct. 10-11)…tied for 15th at the Pac-12 Preview (Oct. 24-25)….shot 4-under par (212) at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational (March 14-15) to tie for third…was selected to participate in the NCAA Lubbock Regional (May 8-10), where she finished tied for 25th…became the only Cougar to be selected to the NCAA Regionals twice in her career as an individual…named Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention…had the lowest season scoring average for the Cougars in school history at 73.63 strokes per round.
Sophomore (2015-16) – Competed in all 11 regular season tournaments for the Cougars…shot even par through three rounds to tie for 12th at Ron Moore Invitational (Oct. 9-10)…finished fourth at Pac-12 Preview (Nov. 2-3) with a career-best of 7-under par (212) and 14 birdies…tied for ninth at Cowgirl Classic (Apr. 4-5) at 220 (+4)…Tied for 23rd at 2-over par (218) at 2016 Pac-12 Championships (Apr. 18-20), the third-best conference-championship score in team history…2015-16 Women's Collegiate Golf (WCG) All-American Scholar...73.85 scoring average.
Freshman (2014-15) – Became the first Cougar freshman selected to compete as an individual at the NCAA Regionals…finished career-best sixth at NCAA St. George Regional and qualified for NCAA Championships as one of 12 individuals…first and third round 71s at NCAA Regional tied for best single-round score in WSU postseason history…competed in all 11 regular-season tournaments for the Cougars…shot a career-low 5-under (68) at the Pac-12 Preview, tied for the second-best score in school history…finished in the top-25 in eight tournaments, tied for the most by a freshman in school history…across all 13 competitions, Brown held a scoring average of 74.74, the lowest by a freshman in WSU history and the fifth-best by any Cougar in school history.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Golfed under coach Mark Bender for four years…helped the team to four-straight 4A State Championships…two-time individual 4A State Champion, winning the title during sophomore and senior seasons…took third place as a junior at the 4A State Championships…competed at the U.S. Junior Girl’s Golf Championship Qualifier in 2014… member of Team Washington at the Junior America’s Cup…garnered second-place finish at the Washington State Amateur.
