WSU CAREER. SENIOR (2018-19): Indoor – Saw his best outing in the heptathlon at the MPSF Championships, where Ray posted a PR of 4,780 total points, and earned an 11th place finish…Saw action in multiple other events throughout the indoor season including the 60m dash, the
 
JUNIOR (2017-18): Outdoor – Posted a PR in the 200m dash (22.01) at the Pac-12 Championships…Also competed in multiple events throughout the season including the 4x100m relay, the 4x400m relay, and the 400m dash…Recorded a season-best in the 4x100m relay at the UCLA Jim Bush Legends meet (40.67).

SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Indoor - Won the heptathlon at the Cougar Indoor with 4,588 points (60m - 7.05, long jump - 6.43m/21-1 1/4, shot put - PR 12.03m/39-5-3/4, high jump - 1.83m/6-0, 60m hurdles - 9.17, pole vault - PR 3.05m/10-0, and 1000m - 2:56.17)…Outdoor - Integral third leg of WSU's relays…at Pac-12 Championships, 4x100m relay placed third with a time of 40.36 and 4x400m relay was fifth with a time of 3:10.40…at NCAA West Region the 400m relay squad placed 20th with a season-best time of 40.20…named to Pac-12 T&F All-Academic Second Team.
 
FRESHMAN (2015-16): Indoor - Ran PR of 7.03i in 60m at Cougar Indoor (2/6/16, Pullman)…best 200m time of 22.71i at Don Kirby Open (2/13/16, Albuquerque)…Outdoor - At Sam Adams Classic tallied trio of PR marks - long jump 6.67m/21-10 3/4, shot put 11.58m/38-0 and javelin 40.40m/132-6 (4/2/16, Spokane)…400m dash PR of 48.79 at WSU-UW Dual (4/23/16, Pullman)…at Cougar Invite ran 100m time of 10.91 (4/30/16, Pullman).
 
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned seven varsity letters at Issaquah High School…three as a running back/defensive back/kick return specialist in football for coach Buddy Bland…four as a sprinter/jumper in track and field for coach Tracy Silva…competed on 4x100m relay team all four years along with Cougar teammate Jake Nienhuis and had two state championship appearances…at 2015 State Multi Events Championships, reached PRs in 400m (51.74) and long jump (20-2.91) in 13th place decathlon finish with a school record of 5,182 points…team captain.
 
PERSONAL. Born in April 1997, in Tulsa, Oklahoma…mother Patricia is a T-Mobile manager…enjoys video games and being a leader in church activities and reading the Bible…at high school was member of Chinese Yo-Yo Club, Fly fishing Club, French Club, Student Athlete Club, and Ping Pong Club…majoring in sports science at WSU.
