HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned nine varsity letters at Colfax High…one letter as a guard in basketball for coach Corey Baerlocher…one letter as a defensive specialist for volleyball coach Sue Doering…three letters in cross country for coach Jamie Kinley…freshman year the volleyball, basketball and track teams won state championships…named to 2B all-state basketball team…was the individual state cross country champion as both a sophomore and as a senior and was runner-up as a junior…during the outdoor track season at the state 2B championship meets: freshman year took second in 800m and 3200m and third in 1600m; sophomore year was runner-up in 800m, 1600m and 3200m; junior season won 3200m and was runner-up in 1600m; senior year won both the 1600m and the 3200m titles.
