JUNIOR (2015-16): Cross Country - Finished 71st overall at Clash of Inland NW meet with 6k time of 20:56.7...11th Cougars and 41st overall finisher at Sundodger 8k in time of 26:06.51...29th at Inland Empire Challenge (26:08)…Indoor - Ran PR time in 800m of 2:00.03i at WSU Open (1/23/16, Pullman)…Outdoor - Clocked in PR in 3000m steeplechase with time of 10:26.46 at Whitworth’s Sam Adams Classic (4/2/16, Spokane)…PR time in 800m of 1:56.30 came at WSU-UW Dual meet (4/23/16, Pullman)…named to Pac-12 Track & Field All-Academic second team.
 
SOPHOMORE (2014-15): Cross Country - At Clash of the Inland Northwest finished 62nd in 6k time of 20:11...40th at Sundodger Invite 8k (26:31)...finished 99th at the Inland Empire Challenge 8k in Lewiston (27:49).named to Pac-12 All-Academic cross country second team…Indoor - Improved mile time to 4:27.89i at WSU Open (1/24/15, Pullman)…lowered 800m time to 2:01.58i at Cougar Indoor (1715, Pullman)…Outdoor - Ran the 1500m in 4:15.95 at the SCC WAR VII meet in Spokane (4/11/15).
 
FRESHMAN (2013-14): Cross Country - Finished 86th overall at Sundodger Invitational with an 8,000m time of 27:37.50…Indoor - Best times of season included 800m (2:02.25i) at Cougar Indoor (2/1/14, Pullman) and mile (4:29.39i) at WSU Open II (2/22/14, Pullman)…Outdoor - Redshirt season.
 
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Sophomore and junior years attended Cabot High in Cabot, Ark…earned two varsity letters in cross country and in track and field for coach Leon White…in cross country, sophomore season won 7A Central Arkansas Conference title and were runners-up at state meet…junior year earned cross country all-conference honors…team was conference runners-up…on the track at Cabot as a junior earned all-conference and all-state honors…4x800m relay were conference champions and runners-up at state meet and qualified for the Meet of Champions…senior year attended Asotin High in Asotin, Wash…earned all-district cross country honors…team took fourth place at state 2B Championships…during track season at state 2B Championships won 4x400m relay and placed third in both 800m (2:01.75) and 1600m (4:29.98)…team won state title…PRs include 1:57.77 in 800m, 4:28.57 in 1600m and 10:38.40 in 3200m.
 
PERSONAL. Born in September 1994, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky…father Eric is a youth pastor…mother Kellie works in customer service…older brother Jordan Simpson and younger brother Austin Ostrander…younger sister Sierra Simpson…enjoys hiking and watching movies…majoring in communication at WSU.
