FRESHMAN (20167): Cross Country - Finished Sundodger 9th overall/sixth on team...at Notre Dame Joe Piane Invite 108th overall/eighth on team...individual winner at Inland Empire Championships...at Pac-12 Championships 9th on team/48th overall…finished eighth in the Junior Men’s 8k at the USATF Cross Country Championships, Feb. 4, 2017, at the Rivers Edge Golf Course in Bend, Ore...ran a time of 26:41 on a course described as muddy and icy, surrounded by two feet of snow throughout the 2k loop course...one of 41 men entered in the Junior race.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Earned eight varsity letters at North Central High School…four in cross country for coach Jon Knight…four in track for coach Mark Vandine…2015 Gatorade Male Cross Country Runner of the Year for the state of Washington…led NCHS boys’ team to 10th straight Washington 3A cross country title, breaking team record for wins, as individual state meet winner in 2015…5k time of 15:02.0 was seventh-fastest clocked on the course…senior year also placed sixth at Nike Cross Northwest, won Nike BorderClash 17, and placed 25th at Foot Locker Nationals…three-time All-Greater Spokane League cross country team…selected 2015-2016 Male Scholar-Athlete from North Central High School…during track season, finished third at the mile at the Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays with a PR time of 4:07.28 - seventh-best nationally…at the state 3A championships won both the 1600m and 3200m titles with PRs of 4:07.69 and 8:55.96 giving him Triple Crown status: winning cross country, 1600m and 3200m state titles all in the same school year…at Portland Track Festival, ran 1500m PR time of 3:45.96 (37th)…finished fourth at Brooks PR Invitational with mile time of 4:11.45.
