JUNIOR (2015-16): Cross Country - Redshirt season…ran unattached at Clash of Inland NW finishing 48th in 6k with time of 19:43.0…Indoor - Redshirt season…Outdoor - Ran season-best 1500m time of 3:55.02 at Mt. SAC Relays…best 800m time was 1:53.48 at Cougar Invitational…at Pac-12 Championships ran 800m in 1:59.26 for 20th…named to Pac-12 Cross Country All-Academic honorable mention team.
 
SOPHOMORE (2014-15): Cross Country - Fourth on team and seventh overall at Clash of the Inland Northwest 6k in time of 18:18...finished 14th at Sundodger 8k (24:52)...finished 124th overall, fourth on team at Pre-Nats Blue Race 8k (25:37.7)...finished sixth on team, 60th overall at Pac-12 Championships 8k (25:12)...fourth on team and 78th overall at NCAA West Region 10k in time of 31:06.7…named to Pac-12 All-Academic cross country second team…Indoor - Redshirt season…Outdoor - Redshirt season.
 
FRESHMAN (2013-14): Cross Country - Sixth Cougar, 32nd overall finisher at Clash of the Inland Northwest 6k (19:50)...sixth Cougar, 38th overall at Sundodger Invitational 8k (25:04.18)....did not finish race at Notre Dame Invitational...took 30th overall, sixth Cougar at Inland Empire Classic 8k (24:57)...at Pac-12 Championships, sixth Cougar. 66th overall in 8k (27:32)...collected a 106th place finish, sixth Cougar at NCAA West Regional Championships 10k (32:02)…Indoor - At Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships finished 21st in mile with PR of 4:11.20i and ran on Distance Medley Relay for fourth place with time of 9:53.38i (3/1/14, Seattle)…Outdoor - Ran PR time in 1500m of 3:52.70 at Mt. SAC Relays (4/17/14, Walnut).
 
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned a total of eight varsity letters at Barlow High…four for cross country coach Paul Quirke…four letters for track coach David Kilian…at the state 6A Championships finished fifth at state 6A cross country meet as a senior after 15th, 31st and 33rd finishes prior…during track seasons at state 6A Championships meet finished sixth in 1500m as sophomore and eighth as senior…in Mt. Hood Conference Championships senior year was runner-up in 1500m and 3000m races and fifth in the pole vault…member of relays teams including third place at conference in 4x400m and third in 4x800m at New Balance Boise Indoor meet…competed as a decathlete in high school.
 
PERSONAL. Born in October 1994, in Portland, Oregon…father Gary is a cameraman…mother Wendy is a homemaker…older sister Jorday Tryan…enjoys snowboarding…graduated with a 3.71 GPA…majoring in communication/journalism and media production at WSU.
