HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Piedra Vista…three-year baseball varsity letter winner for coach Mike McGaha and Jeff Kiraly…as a JUNIOR, named District 1-6A Player of the Year and first-team All-State as a utility player after hitting .348 with four doubles, three triples, one home run, 15 RBI and five stolen bases…on the mound, went 9-0 with 27 strikeouts in 58.1 innings and a 0.48 ERA…as a SENIOR, named Preseason All-American West Region Honorable Mention, first-team All-State, All-District First Team and New Mexico All Star…as an outfielder after hitting .426 with 13 doubles, six triples and 25 RBI…originally signed with New Mexico State but signed with Washington State after coaching changes.
