WSU CAREER. FRESHMAN (2011-12): Outdoor - Threw javelin 57.82m/189-8 at SCC Dusty Lane Invite (3/17/12, Spokane)...injured back and redshirted rest of season.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned 11 varsity letters at Riverside Christian...three as a forward on the soccer team for coach Mike Emmens...four as a point guard on basketball team for coach Will Gaethle...one as first baseman for baseball coach Phil Pettit...three for track and field coach Scott Wells as Crusaders won state 2B track titles in 2009 and 2010, runners-up in 2011...on the soccer pitch the Crusaders team advanced to state 2B championships all four years with a third place finish as a sophomore and fourth place as a senior...during four seasons scored 60 goals...earned first-team all-league honors in basketball three consecutive years...in first track meet as sophomore broke school javelin record throwing 159-6...placed second at state 2B meet with toss of 178-0 and placed fourth in long jump (21-1 1/4) and ninth in high jump (5-10)...junior year threw PR of 195-1 at Pasco Invite...won state javelin title (187-8) and took second in long jump (22-10 3/4w)...also scored points on winning 4x100 and 4x400 relays...as a senior won state 2B 300m hurdles (39.67), placed second in javelin (192-6), and third in both 110m hurdles (15.49) and long jump (22-3 3/4w)...top javelin toss of year was 192-10.
PERSONAL. Born in October 1992 in Yakima...parents Sean and Cindy...Cindy is a registered nurse...older sister Danielle...younger sister Brianna...enjoys snowboarding...plans to pursue academic courses that lead to career in dentistry.
