DAY 2 | Krka National Park (Split, Croatia)
The Cougs awoke to a fantastic breakfast of local pastries, fruit, charcuterie and cheeses at the hotel and then boarded the bus for Krka National Park.
A short bus ride later, the team arrived in the city of Skradin and boarded the boat for the trip up Krka River to the trailhead for the main hike to the waterfalls.
With fantastic guides that described the history of the area, the team embarked on the 90 minute hiking loop around the Krka National Park along the Stradinksi Buk Trail. It was a wonderful 3.4 Km hike over bridges with amazing views of the waterfalls ending with lunch and/or gelato.
The bus then brought the team back to the hotel where the rest of the day was free. Some of the group headed to the beach some walked the old city and everyone on their own for dinner to sample the local flavors.
