> CJ Elleby, named to the Julius Erving and Wooden Award watch lists as well as the Cayman Islands Classic all-tourny team leads the Cougs at 21.6 ppg, ranking 2nd in the Pac-12. 
> WSU's senior captain, Jeff Pollard, has shown a scoring touch with four double-digit games in his last five contests. He is averaging a career-best 9.6 ppg and leads the team having gone 8-of-19 from deep (42.1%).
> The Cougs lead the nation in fewest turnovers at 8.0 per contest.

GAME INFORMATION - AT IDAHO
After three games in the tropics the Cougs return to the Palouse for a battle with regional rival Idaho. The two sides meet in Moscow for the 275th all-time meeting. WSU holds the 164-110 advantage in the series but the Vandals have won three of the last five. The Cougs did take the last season's contest, 90-70, at Pullman, winning the last two at home. The Vandals have held serve each of the last two games at Moscow with the last win for WSU coming in 2013 when the Cougs won 67-66. The Vandals enter the game having dropped back-to-back contests, falling to North Dakota State, (70-53) and at Seattle U (74-55), the lone common opponent between the two sides in 2019. Three Vandals are averaging in double-figures led by Trevon Allen's 17.2 points per game.

The Cougs finished sixth at the Cayman Islands Classic going 1-2 overall after falling to Colorado State in the consolation finals. WSU put four in double-figures in the loss as the Rams caught fire in the second half, shooting 65.4% from the floor to stave off a late rally by the Cougs. CJ Elleby was named to the all-tournament team after leading the three-day event in scoring at 21.3 ppg.

THE TURNOVER GAME
Entering the week the Cougs remain one of the best in the nation at taking care of the ball with just 56 turnovers in seven games and 8.0 per game, the fewest in all of Division I basketball.
On the other end the Cougs have forced 16.1 turnovers per game thanks to 6.9 steals per contest. WSU has turned those turnovers into 17.9 points per game.
Individually, CJ Elleby leads the way defensively as the sophomore has nabbed 13 steals, 1.86 per game which ranks 8th among Pac-12 players.

A NEW SPLASH BROTHER
Following in the footsteps of the great Klay Thompson before him the Cougs may have found the newest splash brother in the form of 6-9 senior forward Jeff Pollard. Entering the year with three three-pointers to his name in three seasons. Pollard has found his stroke from behind the arc as senior captain has hit 8-of-19 (42.1%) from deep, leading the Cougs in three-point shooting percentage. Pollard hit a career best three from deep against Colorado State going 3-for-4 while hitting 6-of-7 shots in the game.
Overall, Pollard enters the game averaging a career-best 9.6 points per game while leading the Cougs at 52.1% (25-48) from the floor. In addition, Pollard has hit 9-of-11 from the free throw line. He has gone for double-figures in four of seven games including scoring a career-best 16 points against Colorado State.
