OPENING FIVE
> The Cougs have won five-straight for the first time since the start of the 2017-18 season when they won six-straight. WSU is now 6-1 in home games and are looking for a perfect December to close out non-conference play.
> WSU finishes non-conference with one last contest as Arkansas Pine-Bluff comes to town. The Cougs have won the only two meetings between the two teams with the last coming in 2012 when WSU held the Golden Lions to just 38 points.
> CJ Elleby, named to the Julius Erving and Wooden Award watch lists, ranks 3rd in the Pac-12 in scoring at 19.9 ppg and has scored in double-figures in all 12 games on the year. 
> Jeff Pollard is in the midst of a career year scoring 10.1 ppg. He has gone for double-figures in seven games including three-straight.
> Double-Doubles have been the name of the game lately as CJ Elleby (25 & 11) and Isaac Bonton (19 & 12) have each posted their first double-doubles on the year against FAMU and UIW.

GAME INFORMATION - VS ARKANSAS PINE-BLUFF
The Cougs play one last non-conference game against Arkansas Pine-Bluff who come in ranked 345 in
KenPom's rankings. The Golden Lions are 1-10 with their lone win coming against Champion Christian. Their record is deceiving in the fact they have played Gonzaga, KState, Pitt, Oregon State and recently New Mexico State, the lone common opponent between the two teams. 

LAST TIME OUT

For the second-straight contest the Cougs came up with a season-best in scoring as WSU ran past Incarnate Word (3-9), 87-59. The Cougs used a balanced attack to win their fifth-straight contest as five different scorers went for double-figures led by a Isaac Bonton's 19. The Cougs' top scorer, CJ Elleby, chipped in 13 while Aljaz Kunc added 13, Jeff Pollard tallied 11, and Tony Miller finished with 10. Pollard and Miller did their damage on just 13 shots going a combined 10-of-13 from the floor as the Cougs finished 34-of-69 (49.3%) from the field as a team.

KUNC FROM THE CORNER
The Cougs' most efficient shooter from deep coming into the game, sophomore Aljaz Kunc enters the game shooting a team-best 34.1% (15-44) from three-point range. For Kunc, the key to his game has been burying himself in the corner as the 6-8 shooter is an impressive 11-of-21 (52.4%) from the corner including hitting a career-best 3 from the corner on 4 attempts vs Incarnate Word. Outside of the corner, Kunc is 4-of-23 (17.4%).
Just under half of Kunc' makes have been from distance as he is 32-of-82 (39.0%) from the floor on the year.
