WSU VOLLEYBALL TRAVELS BACK TO EAST COAST FOR TRIO OF MATCHES
The Washington State University volleyball team, 5-1 and ranked 29th in the Sept. 4 AVCA Top 25 Coaches Poll, heads back to the East Coast for the Fairfield University (Connecticut) Invitational at George Bisacca Court at Alumni Hall...WSU will play New Hampshire (1-6, pending Sept. 5 match vs. Bryant University) Fri., Sept. 8 at 9 a.m. PT...New Hampshire has been to four consecutive NCAA Championship tournament after winning the America East Conference regular and postseason tournaments...Cougars meet Fairfield (3-3 pending 9/6 vs. Sacred Heart) that day at 4 p.m. and then again Sat., Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. PT...the WSU-Fairfield matches will be live-streamed on the Stags Sports Network - link can be found on the volleyball schedule page at wsucougars.com...live radio coverage of the tournament is available online too with Palouse area listeners advised to find the New Hampshire match on KHTR FM and not KQQQ Am Friday morning.

Jen Stinson Greeny is in her seventh season as WSU's head coach (96-105 at WSU, 7 years; 208-129 in career, 11 years)...2016 Pac-12 Coach of the Year...Greeny bio on page 5...staff includes associate head coach Burdette Greeny (seventh year) and assistant coach Shannon Hunt (fifth year)...all coaches are former WSU student-athletes...technical operations Grant Schoenlein (first year), volunteer coach James Dorr (second year) and student coach Kyra Holt...Kaysie Shebenick is coordinator of operations (first year).
