LAS VEGAS – Aneta Miksovska and Ege Tomey reached semifinal matches at the UNLV Fall Invitational tennis tournament at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Saturday. 
 
In the semifinals, sophomore Miksovska fell to USC's Zoe Katz, 7-6, 6-4 in the second singles draw, while freshman Tomey fell to UNLV's Jovana Kenic, 6-0, 6-2 during the fifth singles draw.
 
Sophomore Bara Michalkova posted a hard earned 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 score over Aelexandra Stiteler of Southern Alabama in the top singles consolation round. In the fourth singles consolation round Melisa Ates defeated Long Beach State's Estee Widdershoven, 6-4, 7-6.
 
WSU's Victoria Matejevic struggled against Long Beach State's Lena Pacholski in the third singles consolation round, 6-3, 7-6.
 
The duo of Matejevic and Ates fell during the second doubles draw semifinal round to Long Beach State's Maeva Razakasoa and Julie Gerard, 8-2.
 
In the first doubles draw, Michalkova and Miksovska fell Olivia Noble and Georgia Lawson of Fresno State, 8-6.
 
Play concludes Sunday at the UNLV Fall Invitational with both singles and doubles play.
