Volleyball Travels to Rocky Mountain Schools for Matches Thursday, Sunday

WSU VOLLEYBALL'S LAST PAC-12 ROAD TRIP IS TO MOUNTAIN SCHOOLS
After a pair of wins at home, the Washington State University volleyball team is 19-9 overall, 9-7 in Pac-12, and is receiving votes in the Nov. 14 AVCA Coaches Top 25 Poll...19 wins in a season is the most in Head Coach Jen Greeny's era, and tied for the seventh-most wins in WSU's Pac-10/12 history...this week the Cougars are tied for sixth place in the highly competitive Pac-12 Conference and fighting for an NCAA Tournament bid...WSU plays at No. 16 Utah (19-8, 10-6) Thurs., Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. PT in a match televised on the Pac-12 Network...WSU travels to Boulder to play at Colorado (13-13, 5-11* pending Nov. 18 vs. No. 8 Washington) Sun., Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. PT...announcers for the Pac-12 TV's WSU-Utah match are Thad Anderson and Amy Gant...both matches will also be broadcast on radio...video and audio links are at wsucougars.com.

Jen Stinson Greeny is in her sixth season as WSU's head coach (88-101 at WSU, 6 years; 200-125 in career, 10 years) - complete Greeny bio on page 4...assistant coaches Burdette Greeny (sixth year) and Shannon Hunt (fourth year)...all coaches are former WSU student-athletes...volunteer coach Milan Vucinic (first year)...Katie Hinrichs is coordinator of operations (sixth year).

The WSU volleyball team is Receiving Votes (RV) in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Coaches Top 25 Poll for Week 12 (Nov. 14)...WSU's rankings this year by Week #: Sept. 5, 12 and 19 (#2, 3, 4) - Receiving Votes; Sept. 26 (#5) - 17th; Oct. 3 (#6) - 10th; Oct. 10 (#7) - 13th; Oct 17 and 24 (#8, 9) - 18th; Oct. 31 (#10) - 23rd; Nov. 7 (#11) - RV...the No. 17 (Sept. 26) ranking was WSU's first top 25 ranking since the 2009 season (21st was highest that year)...WSU's highest ranking, No. 5 (Oct. 17, 1995) when Head Coach Jen Stinson Greeny and Asst.
