No. 13 WSU HOSTS COLORADO AND NO. 21 UTAH THIS WEEK
The Washington State University volleyball team, 15-3 overall, 5-1 Pac-12, is ranked No. 13 in the Oct. 10 AVCA Coaches Top 25 Poll...Cougars are tied with No. 16 Oregon for first place in the conference after splitting weekend matches in Oregon...WSU hosts Colorado (10-6 overall, 2-4 Pac-12) - also receiving votes in the current AVCA poll - Fri., Oct. 14 at 7 p.m....Buffs come to Pullman after 3-1 losses at No. 7 Stanford and California, dropping Colorado to eighth place in Pac-12 standings...Cougars welcome No. 21 Utah (13-4, 4-2 pending 10/14 at No. 7 Washington) Sun., Oct. 16 at Noon...the Utes are in a four-way logjam for third place in the Pac-12 after a 3-0 win at Cal and a 3-1 upset at No. 7 Stanford...WSU-Utah match will be live on the Pac-12 Network with Kevin Barnett and Nicole Branagh announcing...links are at wsucougars.com.
1996 COUGAR VOLLEYBALL ELITE EIGHT TEAM REUNION
Homecoming 2016 will celebrate WSU's 1996 Elite Eight volleyball team...the Cougars racked up a 27-6 overall record, 14-4 and second place in the Pac-10...team will be introduced during Friday night match and at football Saturday.

Jen Stinson Greeny is in her sixth season as WSU's head coach (84-95 at WSU, 6 years; 196-119 in career, 10 years) - complete Greeny bio on page 4...assistant coaches Burdette Greeny (sixth year) and Shannon Hunt (fourth year)...all coaches are former WSU student-athletes...volunteer coach Milan Vucinic (first year)...Katie Hinrichs is coordinator of operations (sixth year).
