Four Cougars Tabbed WCG All-American Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Four Washington State women's golfers were named 2014-15 Women's Collegiate Golf (WCG) All-American Scholars, the organization announced Monday.
Senior Kristen Rue, juniors Rachel Lewis and Nani Yanagi and freshman Alivia Brown each picked up the honor, which went to a total of 758 women's collegiate golfers. Student-athletes much have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 to qualify.
Lewis (Gig Harbor, Wash.) earned Pac-12 All-Academic first team honors earlier this summer, while Yanagi (Hilo, Hawaii) was named to the second team and Rue an honorable mention. Brown was not eligible for Pac-12 All-Academic honors as a freshman.
