Lindsay Harmon and Travis Long Named Student-Athletes of the Week
WSU CAREER
FRESHMAN (2011-12): Competed in seven tournaments for the Cougar women in her debut season...carded lowest career score of 71 in the second round of the Anteater Invitational...tied for 7th place in the same tournament, marking her first top-25 and top-10 finishes for the Cougars...scoring average of 79.38 over her 21 rounds.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned four varsity letters in golf under coach Adam Miller...FRESHMAN...received all-conference and all-state honors...placed first as an individual at the district tournament...placed third at the state tournament...SOPHOMORE...received all-conference and all-state tournament honors for the second year in a row...finished third at districts...was 2009 Oregon State 3A Individual Champion...JUNIOR...third time recipient of all-conference and all-state honors...selected athlete of the week in May, 2010 by KWG Radio...placed first as an individual at districts...2010 Oregon State 3A Overall Champion...SENIOR...four-time recipient of all-conference and all-state honors...three-time district champion...placed 2nd at 2011 Oregon State Championships.
