SOPHOMORE (2004-05): Indoor - Finished 13th in 60m dash prelims (6.99i) and 18th in 200m dash prelims (22.69i) at MPSF Championships with time of 6.99i (2/25/05, Seattle)...Outdoor - Top spring times were 10.98 in 100m at WSU Open (4/2/05, Pullman) and 21.78 in the 200m at Mt. SAC Relays (4/17/05. Walnut).
FRESHMAN (2003-04): Indoor - Ran top 60m dash time of 6.89i at Vandal Indoor (2/20/04, Moscow)...best indoor 200m time of 22.02i also run in Moscow (2/21/04)...at Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships, finished 14th in 60m (6.99i) and 15th in the 200m (22.17i)...Outdoor - Pac-10 Championships efforts resulted in 13th in 200m (21.66) and 14th in 100m (10.79) at Tucson (5/15/04)...100m PR of 10.68w came at Idaho Outdoor Meet (5/8/04, Moscow) while fastest 200m time of 21.50w was run at State Challenge Cup (4/17/04, Pullman).
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned six letters at Olympic High School...three as a running back and safety for football coach Carlton Cooper...three for track coach Joel Grindeland...senior year won the 200m dash with school record time of 21.79, anchored the winning 4x100m relay, and placed second in the 100m dash at the Washington state 4A championships...first individual state champ for Olympic High, which finished fourth as team...other school records included 200m (21.79) and 4x100m relay...prior to state, won Narrows League titles and West Central District titles in 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay...also won league 100m and 200m titles as junior but pulled hamstring prior to districts and did not advance to state meet...named school team's most inspirational and team captain...Seattle Times Athlete of the Week...West Sound's Male Scholar Athlete of the Year (2003)...during football career, named first team all-league...had 1.036 yards on 97 carries for 10.8 yards per carry average with 16 touchdowns...named to West Sounds all-area football team.
