ORO VALLEY, Ariz.- The WSU women's golf team completed its first round of play at the Wildcat Invitational Sunday. The Cougars carded a 309 (+21) and are in 9th place.
Sophomore Mallory Kent, Junior Emma Betland, and Senior Kristen Allard lead WSU, each carding a 77 (+5). Freshmen Kristen Rue and Beau Bremer shot a 78 (+6) an 81 (+9), respectively.
Competing as an individual for the Cougars, Junior Ellen Park posted a 77 (+5).
Play continues Monday, with the second round scheduled to tee off at 8 a.m. Live stats will be available at golfstat.com
