SEATTLE, Wash. -- Washington State senior Rickey Moody leaped to an NCAA Provisional Qualifying and lifetime-best indoor long jump of 24-feet, 9 1/4 inches (7.55m) Saturday at the Last Chance Indoor Track and Field Meet at the Dempsey Indoor Facility at the University of Washington.
Moody, from Puyallup, Wash., was the runner-up in the event and his mark is probably not strong enough to qualify him for the NCAA Indoor Championships next week in Fayetteville, Ark.
