Box Score

PULLMAN, Wash. -- Zach Bode and Wes Falkenborg each went 2-for-5 with four RBI in a 15-10 exhibition win over the Prairie Baseball Academy Monday afternoon at Bailey-Brayton Field.

Sean Donlin recorded the win on the mound, throwing three innings of three-hit, two-run ball. Donlin struck out five in his appearance while walking only two.

Falkenborg provided the big blow in the Cougars' eight-run sixth inning with a bases loaded double to score three runs. Bode hit a two-run home run deep over the right field wall in the seventh inning. Center fielder Mike Knight went 3-for-5, and reserve catcher Ryan Sullivan notched a two-hit game in his first career start.

With the game being an exhibition contest, the statistics from this game will not count in the final season totals for the Cougars. WSU will return to Pac-10 action this weekend against the Arizona Wildcats.
