PULLMAN, Wash. (September 2, 2025) – Kyle Manzardo homers twice and Ryan Walker records two saves in the past week as 13 Cougs in the MLB and MiLB improve upon their seasons.
Kyle Manzardo | DH | Cleveland Guardians
Manzardo hit home runs in three of his last four games, improving his season home run total to 24. He is now hitting .233 on the season with 61 RBIs and a .779 OPS.
Ryan Walker | RHP | San Francisco Giants
Walker got his fifth win of the season in his relieving stint against the Cubs on the 28th of August. He also recorded saves in his recent games on August 24th and 26th in which he pitched an inning in each game and a total of four strikeouts over the two innings. Walker's season totals increase to a record of 5-4 with 53 strikeouts, 12 saves, and 8 holds.
Ian Hamilton | RHP | New York Yankees (Triple – A)
Hamilton came in to relieve for the Yankee's Triple-A affiliate, throwing four strikeouts in his past three games, pitching one inning each game. He gave up no runs in those three games against Syracuse. Hamilton is now throwing a 7.82 ERA in 13 games with 14 strikeouts since his first start in Triple-A
