Paul Dennis was named Director of Marketing and Fan Experience at Washington State University Athletics in January 2026, where he assists in driving fan engagement, in-venue experience, and revenue-focused marketing initiatives across multiple sports. In his role, Dennis contributes to campaign planning and execution, in-venue promotions, student engagement efforts, video board elements, script writing, and game presentation.

Prior to arriving at Washington State, Dennis served as a Marketing and Fan Development Coordinator at Virginia Tech Athletics, where he supported comprehensive marketing and fan experience efforts across Olympic and ticketed. His work focused on enhancing the in-venue atmosphere, developing student engagement initiatives, and executing revenue-driven promotions.

Dennis has contributed to award-winning marketing initiatives at Virginia Tech. His work played a role in the department being named the 2025 National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) Marketing Team of the Year, while also leading efforts that earned a NACMA ‘Best of’ Gold Award for Student Engagement. Across his roles, Dennis has emphasized creative promotions, strategic storytelling, and data-informed engagement strategies to increase attendance, drive revenue, and strengthen overall brand connection on gamedays.

A native of Missoula, Mont., Dennis is a graduate of Washington State University having earned a B.A. in Sport Management and Communications in the spring of 2024.
