Mariah McConnaughey joined Washington State University in 2024 as Director of Development for the Cougar Athletic Fund. She holds a B.S. in Zoology from UC Santa Barbara, an M.Sc. in Primate Conservation from Oxford Brookes University, and a Graduate Certificate in Humane Education from Valparaiso.
Before WSU, Mariah served as Philanthropy Manager at Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners (SNAP) for a decade. She is an avid runner and skier, a former soccer and track athlete, and a passionate sports fan. Mariah lives in Spokane with her husband Jonathan Myers (WSU ’03) and daughter Brynnlee.
